TILE QUOTES

Sometimes someone going through cancer just needs a special message to help lift them up. I make a lot of these tiles that are then given to many cancer patients by their loved ones.

YOU NEVER GET OVER LOOSING A LOVED ONE.

April 2014 is a month I will never forget. We found out that our dear sister had pancreatic cancer at age 39. Cancer does not only touch the one who has it, but it reaches out and touches each individual close to the one diagnosed.
I watched my best friend, my confidant, my dear sister fight a battle for her life. This battle was one we were all fighting alongside her.
Dawn lost her battle January 19, 2015 when GOD came to take her home.

Only those who have been touched personally or have seen a loved one go threw cancer or have lost a loved one, can ever understand what it truly does to all it touches.

This Chapter was created in honor of my sister Dawn. This was something her and I had started right before she was diagnosed with cancer and had to be placed on hold while the family stood alongside Dawn.

My other two sisters and I became her caregivers right to the end. I was honored and so broken to be by my sisters side right to the end, every step of the way. My Employeer gave me the last month off to be there for my dear sister and I am so grateful for this. There will always be a void that nothing will ever fill it back up with. we had a routine her and I. Even though she lived 1500 miles apart, we were together every day between phone calls and skyping for hours.

I miss her dearly and know that she would be proud to see our dream come true!
