ABOUT US

WHO ARE WE
Sew Many Hearts for Giving is a new official chapter of “Crochet for Cancer” that has been formed to meet the needs of our local community by providing those going through a difficult time in their lives with handmade items created by are many volunteers.
If you would like to be a part of this wonderful chapter, please contact me by email or phone. We are happy to add new group members from all over Northern Maine communities.

MISSION STATEMENT
We are Mothers, Daughters, Sisters, Friends, Grandmothers, Fathers, Sons, Brothers, and Grandfathers that all have one common factor. We are children of GOD wanting to take care of His children as He takes care of us.
We are an anonymous group of crafters who give the Glory to God.

VISION
We hope to bring a smile and a piece of comfort to each one who receives our items. In the midst of life’s journeys, it is nice to take comfort in knowing someone cares.
Why I founded “Sew Many Hearts For Giving”I wanted to help so many organizations but just didn't have the resources or the time to be able to achieve this on my own. After spending many nights praying on what direction I should take it suddenly came to me on how to achieve this.
Why not create a group that helps not only one organization but many!
We make handmade items such as clothing and blankets to distribute to charitable organizations in our local communities and around the world.
This is also being done in memory of my dear sister Dawn who lost her battle with pancreatic cancer on 1/19/2015. Dawn and I were going to form our own chapter until she was diagnosed in April of 2014 with cancer.
